Monday Mural: Found in Stanford

A mural found during a walking tour of Stanford University in California....
Stanford Mural

It is time for a Monday Mural and for this week’s entry I have a mural that I found in Stanford University in California. This Stanford Mural was found on the University’s Campus during a walking tour of the campus. It was in the year was 2013 that I came across this mural.

The long strip of art on the building that was marked ‘Nitery’ had caught my eye and I had to take a picture of it. Little did I know I’d find myself on MondayMural, someday. ๐Ÿ™‚ I hadn’t looked for the artist of this work of art, back then.

And I haven’t been able to find more information about this Stanford mural.

Would you know the name of this mural or the artist?
Or what it means? Let me know in the comments, if you do.

I assume that it was commissioned by the university and has many meanings within the composition that are lost to the out of towner.
