Ronald McDonald - Mt. Hood mural

Ronald McDonald in a mural is not something you might not have seen. However, I had to take a picture of this one, because I caught what I thought might be Mt. Hood in the background. So maybe I could call this the Ronald McDonald-Β Mt. Hood mural.

Today we are in the Beaver State — Oregon, which is one of the states through which the Cascade Range runs. And today’s mural is from a McDonald’s restaurant near Portland, OR.

Mt. Hood is one of the volcanoes of the Cascades and if you look at Portland’s skyline, I’m sure you cannot miss this massive mountain except if it is one of those cloudy days that the Pacific Northwest is known for. Considering how the volcanic mountain looks from afar, I think that is a painting of Ronald McDonald near Mt. Hood. I also see a smaller volcano behind it, and I think that, that might be Mt. Adams, which is not very far from Mt. Hood.

You have invoked the pictures of the volcanoes very well, even though they are just hints in the mural. I am always pleased to meet Mr McDonald, wherever and howsoever, and so are my daughters!

For a while now, I've been interested in Volcanoes and seen a few that lie on this mountain range.
He is a happy sight, isn't he? πŸ™‚

He is. I love how McDonalds puts in a local touch to some of their restaurants; that makes them special.

Thank you, Arti, I hope you have been well. πŸ™‚

He is such a cheery sight, isn't he?
The chain should put in a local touch to the Ronald McDonalds all over; spotting him that way would be more fun.
I'm definitely going to look out for him and how he is presented in different places.

Clowns kind of creep me out but I make an exception for Ronald. I always associate him with Ronald McDonald House, which offers free housing to families of ill children who are hospitalized. A wonderful charity sponsored by McDonald's. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.

The Ronald McDonald House really is doing a great job. I know that it means a lot to those parents who have so much on their minds.

      Thank YOU for hosting.
