Have you seen Ian Beermann’s Banana Men, Yet?

Murals from San Francisco

Street art is not uncommon in San Francisco. If you’ve visited here, you know you can see all kinds of street art all over The City. Some works of art feature popular structures in the city, some have profound meanings, and some just add color to this already colorful city-by-the-bay! Among my latest finds here are these banana-men or banana murals by Ian Beermann. And, something tells me these banana-men won’t be uncommon in SF!

The Banana Men

Look carefully and you’ll see more SF-hints in these paintings, especially in the basketball mural.

Have you spotted these yellow men yet? I’m going to be looking out for more Ian Beermann murals when I go that side again. And it’s not going to be difficult to find them. 😉

For now, if you’d like to see more of this artist’s work, click here. And if you’ve seen these characters anywhere in the city, do let me know, in the comments. I think I’d like to see more of them. And I’d love to know more about them and how they came about.
