Aspen and it's cool air can instantly put you in holiday mode. It's beautiful. Great for strolls. I spent only a night there and it was lovely in the pm hours. Unfortunately, I don't have great pics from that evening out on the town (just some namesake ones taken on a point and shoot). But I do have some I took the following morning — a couple or so random ones from the downtown area and from driving around Aspen. Let me see if I have enough for a picture post on it one of these days.
If you go there, make it a point to visit Maroon Bells. It'll be a great treat for the photographer in you. It is beautiful all year round. In fall all the aspen trees add fall colours to the picture and in winter that lake freezes. Look into that link if you have time, Sid.
