A place to stop and smell the roses — literally. This picture is from San Jose’s Municipal Rose Garden, a place the city would like to call the ‘Best Rose Garden in America‘ for it got that recognition in 2010.*Another interesting fact about this Rose Garden is that it is maintained by a group of volunteers.

I'm not sure if it was a 'rose-tree' but it sure was a pretty tree. This place would be a piece of heaven for people who love roses; they have all kinds of them, here.

It is always wonderful to stroll through such gardens and take in the fragrance of the lovely nature.
It sure is, especially if you are a flower person.
I visited here mainly because I thought I had to see 'America's Best Rose Garden,' which was in my backyard.
What's funny was that when I went there there the first time, it was pruning season. 😀
I had to visit again to see the flowers that made this place famous.
