Picchetti Ranch lies up in the Santa Cruz Mountains in California. It is also the home of Picchetti Winery which is one of the oldest wineries in California.

This post features some pictures from Picchetti Winery, situated on the Santa Cruz Mountains. Without further ado, let me give you a quick tour of the picturesque settings of this Winery up in the mountains —
Picchetti’s Peacock: They have a pet peacock here at Picchetti Ranch and there’s even a wine in the winery here that is dedicated to the beautiful bird. (You can read about it in the other post.)

Nice place, all quiet, calm and a superb country-side getaway and they got a peacock.

Yeah, that really was a calm and peaceful place. The peacock is something very special to this winery. They even have a house special(wine) named after the peacock. It was an Englishman who was in charge of the tastings and I remember he pointed to the picture of a peacock feather on the bottle and said "Your national bird, huh?"
