When we travel we take so many pictures but some of them
stand out from the rest. The colours captured in some of those frames have so much of an effect on us that the images remain imprinted in our minds
forever. I’m sure everybody has a handful of such treasures. Here are some snapshots from my travel album that will always make me
tipsy.

A garden of RED rocks

Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs in Colorado, USA.

GREEN Galore

Tea plantations and a part of Anayirangal Dam’s reservoir in Munnar, Kerala in India.

BLUE Rules

Several shades of blue at Lake Tahoe in California, USA.

Immaculate WHITE

A stretch of clean, white snow with footprints leading to or from the thicket; a picture taken someplace between Aspen and Independence Pass in Colorado, USA.

Hello YELLOW
A dash of fall colour — a welcome sight — in an otherwise dry landscape near Reno, Nevada, USA.

This post is a submission for the Capture the Colour contest put
up by Travel Supermarket. Thank you Travel Supermarket for this wonderful
opportunity that let me pull out and share some of my most favourite travel
photographs.
Thank you Jitaditya of Travelling Slacker for nominating me to
take part in this colourful initiative. (Anuradha, Thank you also for thinking of nominating me. I was thinking of nominating you. πŸ˜‰ ) Now, here are my nominations of fellow travel bloggers:

Looks like there’s just about one day left for the contest
to close. So sorry for the late nominations, dear blogger friends. I’m in the
midst of moving (homes) and settling down and haven’t got a proper internet
connection as yet. That’s my excuse. J
So sorry, once again.
