Catching some late night city lights @ Bangalore.
These pictures were shot (on a cell phone) from Ebony, the restaurant on the 13th floor of Barton Centre.
It was almost 11 pm, around 2 hours after the blast on Church Street, last month.

That large dark area is fascinating!!! I am guessing it is the roof of a large building…
I love the patterns the lights make, from such a height!!

      Hey Judy,
There's a parade ground where you see the dark area. Had I taken that picture a little earlier, I'd probably have gotten more lights in there. I wouldn't mind dining there, just for the sake of a few more pictures. D

I hope you are doing well.
Thank you for dropping in again, Judy.

I'm not sure if I have a lucky number, Andrea. But I'm quite certain 13 is not unlucky. 🙂
Thank you. I need to learn to take cell phone pictures. 🙂

      Have a great week, Andrea.

The dark areas areas make the pics mystical 🙂 But do share the pics taken in day sometime, as I think dark is actually good, as it signifies some green belt.I hope I am right…. thanks

I just realised that although I've been there several times, I've never been up there during the day. I should do that. The huge dark area in the second picture is supposed to be a parade ground. There isn't a whole lot of green there, I believe. I seriously should check out the sight in daylight and see how many tree tops I can spot.
      Thank YOU, Prasad.

I was there after a gap of 6 years, I guess. And it turned out to be the night of the blast on Church Street.

You should. And take some pictures (I'm sure you will). These pictures were taken pretty late in the night. You'll probably get more lights in your picture if you took them a bit earlier.

See you at the meet, Indrani. 🙂
