About to make a change to the Las Vegas Skyline is a property by the name of Resorts World. The construction is surrounded by some walls and the walls on the Las Vegas Strip-side seem to have some visuals from around the world. This week for Monday Mural(s) let me show you some of those Resorts World murals.
It was in November 2019 that we last visited Vegas and I that came across this art. We were on our way to Circus Circus because our littlest one wanted to play there. I remember seeing a long wall full of murals and I remember photographing them. I thought I had more pictures than I brought back. π
Anyway, here’s what I have π :
Resorts World Murals: London
Did you notice the picture on top of the post? The visuals from London found on the Resorts World Murals include a red phone booth, the Queen’s Guard, Tower Bridge and all.
Lots of red here!
And here are some more visuals from the Resorts World murals: Some historical buildings, rice terraces, a jeepney (isn’t that what it is?) …
I wish I had more pictures and more information about the pictures here.

Some inputs from Sami, the host of Monday Mural (because it adds so much more value to this post):
In the Philippines mural, the white building is the Malacanan Presidential Palace, the cute animal is the Tarsier, next to that photo is the entrance to Fort Santiago in Intramuros, Manila, and that is certainly a jeepney.
Thank you so much, Sami. All the learning that comes about from participating in Monday Mural! How great, isn’t it? π

Come, Trip with us.
…to me it looks like Las Vegas always want to be something that it isn’t. Perhap you can see the world and never leave the strip.
True that. Vegas is strange and impressive at the same time.
Hm. Difficult. Is Tom right? Or are people “just” adding their treasures, too?
Either way, the brolly I loved most! And we do have such a red phone booth – for free books.
Las Vegas is a mix of so many things. It’s very man-made but then you’re not able to brush it all off as artificial. It really has picked up a lot of architecture from around the world and brought it to this desert called Mojave. It’s a crazy wonderland. π
I hear that this new property will bring in some Asian touches, now. I just realized it’s filling a gap. π
The brolly is a pretty addition. π Those phone booths are always so attractive. They’ll make great libraries and bookshelves. <3
Ha, London, my fave town
π
Those are some nice images from your fave town. π I wonder if there’ll be more of it when this resort opens. Let’s see. π
The murals are beautiful Dee!!
In the Philippines mural, the white building is the Malacanan Presidential Palace, the cute animal is the Tarsier, next to that photo is the entrance to Fort Santiago in Intramuros, Manila, and that is certainly a jeepney.
I saw them all in December 2018 when I visited my daughter and son in law who are now living in the Philippines.
Thanks for contributing.
Hey Sami,
That is wonderful. Thank you so much. I tried looking up the white building and failed at the attempt. And I so badly wanted to know what that grey stone-construction was. π
Thank you so so much for all that info. You added so much more to value to this post. Ah! all the things one learns by documenting murals. How lovely! Thank you so much for hosting this meme and keeping it going. Have a great week.
I remember seeing the construction site.
I wonder if these murals will go once the construction is complete. I guess it will!
Thank you for stopping by, Jackie. π
How clever this is, very nice photos
Glad I could help π
