A bright eye-catching backdrop with a Grease Mural for a background. All this set in the wilderness of Mt. Tamalpais in Marin County, California.
We were in Mt. Tamalpais State Park for a short hike last summer and on one of the trails were on, we had seen a sign for Mountain Play Theater. Well, one trail led to another and you can guess what happened. Little did we know we’d end up staring down at a very charming Greek Theater with an attractive looking yellow backdrop for cynosure.
Grease Mural
As you can see this was a setting for the musical, Grease.
I hear that this open-air theatre has a musical production every year and Grease was the one for 2019. Now that I know that, I’d like to go see this year’s backdrop.*
(After the COVID19 is behind us and we’re out again, of course.
Stay healthy. Stay safe, y’all.)

Come, Trip with us. 😉
Very well done! I remember “Hair” as musical, was without such a great setting.
Our beautiful Henry gets involved in a temporal theatre every August, no idea if he likes it!
Oh! Henry goes on stage, too? So nice.
I look forward to pictures of him.
…a wonderful, colorful mural, but the show won’t be going on for a while! Take care.
True that.
There’s no end in sight as yet — as far as the Covid19 is concerned. 😟
Stay safe, Tom.
Lovely to read an article about life BEFORE COVID! It is a lovely backdrop. Thank you. Keep smiling — in spite of … 🙂
🙂
It’s going to be a while before life is normal again. Or maybe we’ll have a new normal.
Welcome here, Selina. Thank you for leaving a comment.
Stay healthy and safe. 🙂
