Neighboring the Queeros Mural you saw on Monday Mural you saw a couple of weeks back, is this one called Humanity is Key. This San Francisco Mural is by artist Chris Gazaleh.
My reading tells me Chris Gazaleh is a local artist and that this mural here is at the intersection of Market Street and Octavia Boulevard is a reflection of his Palestinian culture. The mural has been up here on Elgin Park Apartment since 2018.
We were just about to get onto the freeway when I noticed this mural so these pictures don’t do justice to this mural. You can see all of it and different parts of it too, on the artist’s official site —‘Humanity is Key’ Mural. You can learn more about the mural there.
If you’d like to see this mural while you are in the ever-charming city of San Francisco, look for it beside the ramp on Octavia Street, as you get on to US 101. Happy Mural-hunting. π
You can see more of Chris Gazaleh’s work HERE

Come, Trip with us. π π
it’s an amazing style. I particularly like the way the sky is treated with these strange patterns
Yeah, that’s interesting. The blue gives off a sky/ sea feeling with those patterns.
Welcome here, Kwarkito. π
The mural seems to be quite huge! I quite like it. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Dee
Yeah, it seems to wrap around that part of the building.
Thank you for hosting, Sami. π
Have a lovely week.
…humanity should be the key! I love the floating feeling of this mural. Thanks for sharing it.
Absolutely.
Thank YOU for stopping by, Tom.
Here’s wishing you a good week ahead. π
WOW love this. BTW San Francisco was where I saw my first mural and that was the beginning of my affair with street art. It was in 1987 and I posted it at Monday Mural in 2013!!!

Oh wow!
SF seems to always have some great art on its streets.
Although it wasn’t here that I saw my first few murals, I believe when I started blogging about murals, I started with street art from San Francisco. π
I’d love to come and see that post. Thank you for the link, Jackie. π
Jackie, I checked it out. Interestingly, it’s among my first few murals for Monday Murals. I believe the Bill Weber work is still up there.
It’s is an iconic one. π
Thanks again. π
I had no idea! Thanks for sharing. Wonderful photos too, hard to believe you took them from the car.

Soma,
Look out for all the street art when you’re in SF the next time. And then — like they all say– you’ll see them everywhere! π
Beautiful! I love murals in cities that include trees and go with the surrounding area.
That tree in the mural could easily be one for Parul’s TTL, don’t you think. π
That’s a lovely tree and the mural is great as well. π
Thank you for coming this way, JoAnna. π
Wow Lovely mural work. I like the message they convey.
Hey Indrani,
Long time.
Welcome back. π
I was just leaving a comment when I heard a βbangβ and then my electricity went out. I stepped outside to see if it was just me, or everyone on the block. My next door neighbor was outside and he told me he had called the electric company and reported the outage. They said they would send someone out to check the problem. My electricity finally came back on at 11:17 this morning. It had been out since shortly before 5:00 p.m. last night, around 19 hours. My apologies if you thought I had forgotten or was ignoring you.
That is one fabulous mural and I went to his web site. He is quite prolific and the mural you shared is sure HUGE!!! Wha t a remarkable find.
Good Morning Elizabeth,
Oh my! Please take it easy. π <3
No issues at all.
Have a lovely week. I hope your power problems are over. π
Beautiful mural. I like this style. The colours are pleasing to the eyes.
Welcome back, Nancy.
Thank you for leaving a comment. π
