Now on to the third part of the artwork I spotted at Universal Studios in Hollywood. (This post should have been up earlier. π¬ Anyway, here I am after a long break. π«£) My most recent trip to this movie-themed park was in the summer and among other things, I also spotted some mosaics on some of its walls. Now on to the Mosaic Murals in Universal Studios for this week’s Monday Mural —
The first is a travel-themed mosaic mural with TRAVEL on it and in the letters are images of the Universal Arch, some rocky places, waterfalls and other travel attractions. And in the background is another rocky destination (a canyon, maybe), an airplane and a train.
And the next set of murals seems to be that of an aquatic theme. I see an underwater scene with aquatic plants, swimming fish, sea anemones and jellyfish. I also like the floral pattern that symbolizes flowing water or waves.
These murals — if I remember correctly are from the Universal Plaza area of the park and the Travel-themed one is also near there, alongside the walkway that takes you further into the park. Look for them if you’re ever at Universal Studios in Hollywood, California.
Very attractive, aren’t they? Do you like mosaic art? Where are your most memorable mosaics situated?

Come, Trip with us. π
The mural is absolutely stunning! The tiles are incredible, Dee. It’s always good to travel with an open mind and handu camera!
Hey Elizabeth,
That is so true. I’ve been carrying a camera for a long time, now. π And I’m so thankful that these days it’s ok to leave the camera out once in a while because we have our phone cameras. I’m so thankful for them. π
Thank you for coming this way. I’ve been MIA for a really long time. π¬
I hope you are doing well. π
Great murals. Oh, I hope we can travel soon in freedom again (I could not stand 24+hours with a mask on).
Aren’t they? π
I’ve almost ditched the mask, now. I’m boosted tho — with the new & updated vaccine. But I’m open to going back to masks should things go bad in late fall/ winter.
I hope you get to travel again — soon. β€οΈ
And I hope you’ve been in good health. π
Thank you for visiting here, Iris. π
Both murals are fabulous! Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Dee.
π
They’ve been in the drafts for too long. π«£
Thank you so much for hosting, Sami.
Have a lovely week.
That’s lovely art work!
