Tesla Charging stations have become a fairly common sight in these parts for a while now. And we’ve been to a few of them. Earlier this year, on a drive down to Los Angeles, we walked into a Tesla Lounge for the very first time and I was impressed by all that I saw in there. But what stole the show was the Tesla mural on one of the walls inside the lounge.
The Tesla on the Wall
Neat, is it not? I don’t think I saw the name of an artist, on it. (Or maybe I missed it.)
As Tesla superchargers fast mushroom around the world, there’ll be more Tesla Lounges too, I’m sure. When you’re on a long drive and your car needs some time to get charged for the road, it’s nice to be able to use that time to stretch your legs, use a restroom and pick up some coffee, all in one place. (Especially if you have to stop in some place that does not have all the necessary facilities.)
If you’ve not been into a Tesla Lounge as yet, let me tell you what this one along I-5 in CA had in it. It had some couches, lounge chairs and the mural you saw above. It also had restrooms, a coffee centre, vending machines, some exhibits and some Tesla merchandise, too.
Would you like to go see this Tesla Mural?
If you’d like to catch sight of this mural on your way from Sacramento to Los Angles or the other way round, you can make a stop at Bernard Drive in Kettleman City, California.
We’re going to see more Tesla Lounges, I’m sure. They’ll have more Tesla murals in them, I hope.

Come, Trip with us π
Lovely mural!
It was nice to see a Tesla on a wall for a change. I’m sure we’ll see more of these. π
Thank you for coming this way. π
Have a good week, Magiceye. π
Looks flash
It is quite a flashy thing but they’ve become a very- common sight on the roads in CA.
This is the first time I saw a mural of this car.
Thank you for coming this way, Marja. π
Very well painted mural. I’d never heard of a Tesla lounge. I’ve seen charging stations but mostly outside shopping centres, so I presume people leave their cars charging and do a bit of shopping while they wait.
Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Dee.
Yes very nicely done. π
This was the first (and still the only time) I’ve seen a mural of it. The lounge was also a first, for me π
Yeah, that’s exactly what people do when the superchargers are in busy places. But it’s not exactly fun when you’re on a long drive and you have to do multiple 20-minute stops along the way. π Things will get better, I’m sure.
Thank you for hosting, Sami. π
…Dee, this is a lovely mural, but I’m not a Musk fan. Actually I think that he is a threat to the world, money does strange things to people.
Me too, not a fan – at all! π
But I like the mural. It was nice to see it on a wall for a change. π
(I must admit that these cars look very neat, tho’)
Thank you for stopping by, Tom.
Have a great last week of November! π
What a clever idea. I read Tesla sends repair people[e to work on any Tesla that needs it. I think it’s a charming mural and a great lounge, Dee.
It was nice to see that mural in there. A good idea. And it’s nicely done.
Here’s wishing you a lovely week, Elizabeth. π
Very well done.
Oh, IΒ΄m so glad I donΒ΄t need/have a car no more!
I agree — that’s some neat work, there.
Haha! It can be a lot of work, sometimes. If you have great public transport, I guess you don’t really need one. π
I hope you’re doing well, Iris. π
