It was only a few weeks ago that we had chosen to drive to Half Moon Bay in San Mateo County. When we got there, we thought it might not be the best day to be out at the beach. The sky was overcast and the air was cold. We were catching up with some friends there, so we thought we might as well stay for a while.
There were a good number of vehicles in the parking lot and so we knew were not the only ones who decided to go to the beach that day. As we walked towards the sandy stretch, we saw that it was a typical day out at the beach sans the sun: there were the gazebos and beach chairs, there were people playing volleyball and there were children playing in the sand. Almost all the picnic tables had been taken and there were grills smoking and smell of barbecued meat wafting around.
We walked around a bit, took a few photographs and settled down on the sandy beach when Mr Sun himself decided to come out. From there on it was just what a day at the beach should be like.
The pictures you see above were taken at the Francis Beach, (Half Moon Bay). I must add that this beach is a clean one.
