In an earlier post about Happy Hollow Park and Zoo I had sworn
that the name was appropriate for this place; with all its reds, yellows, oranges and greens, and lots of children, Happy Hollow Park really is a `happy’ place. Last Sunday, the park was a little more happier, celebrating Halloween with an event called ‘Haunt the Hollow.’ Come, let’s see what Halloween at Happy Hollow was like.

There was a Corn Maze, a little Pumpkin Patch, Spiders and Trick-or-Treat stations all over the park (from 1pm to 4pm) not to mention staff and volunteers in costumes. And of course there were little trick-or-treaters: bees and butterflies, Elmos and Thomases, Princesses and Mummies and a few dressed up mommies and daddies. What a happy place it was! We really did have a Happy Halloween at Happy Hollow Park and Zoo.

Here are a few images of `Haunt the Hollow’ —
