Now that the spring is in the air, Vasona Park in Los Gatos – California is a place to visit if you love wildflowers and if you live in or are visiting the San Francisco Bay Area. We picnicked there last spring and had a delightful day. How could we not, with sights like this:

Amazing colors of nature, Divya:)
Aren't they, Mr. Bhatia?!
It's beautiful to see these colours after the winter months and all those bare trees. It sure is a happy season.
Am sure with so much happiness around you must be feeling truly blessed, Divya:)
I love those flower carpets…they give a magical feel to the pictures…
Me too. Love seeing flowers carpeting the ground like that.
And the beauty of those flowers that grow wild is something else!.
Thank you, Prasad. π
Such a beautiful park with all those blooming flowers around. Anyone would love to spend a lovely day of spring and feel fresh at Vasona park! Nice shots, Nambiare.
I hadn't been much of a flower person. But now that I'm exposed to well-defined seasons, I see the difference and see how much beauty flowers can bring about.
Thank you so much, Nomad.
Such beautiful colors of spring..I would love to spend the whole day amidst the lovely blooms..
I'm sure you would. π
A lovely, beautiful season it is! π
Welcome back, Ranita.
Such beautiful colors Divya.. they always make for some great reflection and relaxation time in the chaos of our lives, don't they?
Colours of Spring. When your eyes are sore from the sights of winter, these flowers really are such a welcome sight. For me it was a day away from my chores π and I was more than glad to be picnicking near these wild flowers.
Thank you for the visit, Arti. π
Love all the pictures especially the first one…. the way it has caught the sunlight.
Thank you so much, Haddock. π
That (the first pic) was a sight prettier than what you see in the picture. That image is still so fresh in my mind. Couldn't do justice to it. π
Spring is such a delightful season for photographers! Those little buds and flowers that blossom in every corner of the towns just gives us more reason to step out of our house! Lovely pictures D.
Gosh yes. It even turns people into photographers. π
Thanks Anu. I hope you are doing good. I saw your Northern lights pics. Envious! π
It is like a blanket there! Very beautiful!
Isn't it? And flowers that grow wild have a charm of their own, don't they?
So pretty!!
Aren't they?! π
Thank you for coming by, Magiceye.
Delightful pictures.
