Colors of Venice, California

Allow me one last post on street art from the very colorful Venice, California. ...
Public Art, Venice.
Street art in Venice

Smothered in street art, Venice, California is like a giant painting with strokes in every imaginable color of the palate, lending hues to put together a loud and flamboyant beach town west of Los Angeles. The many snaps I managed to click of the street art in Venice, amounts to only a ‘handful’ when compared to the well of art Venice is.

Public Art, Venice.

Street art in Venice

I saw art everywhere I went in Venice: on public walls, private buildings, utility boxes, even on the structures at the beach. And all the art seemed to add to the bohemian culture that this neighbourhood is known for.

Allow me to show you one last set of pictures of the art from the streets of Venice that I brought back from my spring break in the Southern Californian town.

Yes, I also remember when I went to Venice. The street merchants and mural art was everywhere. You found some beauties today, and I am truly impressed with your great photos, too. Thanks for sharing.

Oh yeah — the street vendors, the street performers and the murals were what stood out from the trip. A very interesting place, is it not?

      Thank you so much. 🙂

Great variety Dee. I like the one with “life is a beach, grab a bucket”. Very cute. We had a cow parade a few years ago when different artists painted cow sculptures and they were all over the city, and people would walk all over town trying to find the next one.

The cow parade sounds like fun. Looking for all of them would have been such a great activity.

Thank you for hosting Monday Mural, Sami. Have a good week. 🙂
