Buildings wrapped in art are hard to miss! Look at these walls of Perception Las Vegas — blanked in zebra colors and geometrical patterns!
When it caught my eye, I was intrigued. Then, I saw the ‘Perception’ printed on the wall and then there was a standee banner that gave me a bit more information about what was before me.
Perception Las Vegas is a Digital Art Museum on Las Vegas Boulevard aka The Strip. It has larger-than-life exhibits and uses lasers, light and sound to offer a different kind of viewing (something along the lines of the Van Gogh Immersive experience, I believe). ‘A revolutionary art experience’ says the gallery. And adds:
Twist your reality
Blow your mind
Change your Perception.
The ongoing event at Perception at the time was Leonardo – The Universal Man, an exhibition of the art and works of Leonardo Da Vinci. The digital art center seemed to promise to take viewers into Italy’s Renaissance era brought to life in a 17,000-square-foot space.

If you are going to be in Vegas soon and are interested in seeing this building and the art on it, you should find it at 2780 S Las Vegas Blvd. I came across this building-sized mural in December 2023 when we were doing one of our walks along the strip; something that’s always a fun family activity to do in Vegas.
Travel Tip: If you like visiting US National Parks or lithic landscapes and are planning trips to the parks in California’s Desert region (Joshua Tree NP, Death Valley) Southern Utah (Zion NP, Bryce Canyon or even places like Antelope Canyon & Monument Valley) Northern Arizona (Grand Canyon or even Horse Shoe Bend), you can squeeze Las Vegas into the itinerary. 😉
Happy Tripping!
