There’s a lot of art in Las Vegas: street art, murals in restaurants and frescoes in the resorts. Ceasars Palace in the Sin City has some art in the form of statues, sculpted pillars and paintings on the ceilings. The frescoes of Ceasars Palace are very Roman and they fit in with the Greco-Roman theme of the Casino-resort.
I came across these paintings now up here in this post, when we were exploring the resort-casino and had decided to watch The Fall of Atlantis, an animatronic show where you have moving, talking statues narrating the tale of the fight for Atlantis. The dome under which this production takes place is an attraction by itself because of the Roman paintings on it.
The Roman Frescoes of Ceasars Palace:
Ceasars Palace too — like The Venetian in the city — has some impressive sky ceilings. These ceiling too, I hear brightens up as the day breaks and dims down towards the evening, just like the ones at The Venetian.
While you are in Las Vegas, you might also want to see:
- The Venetian’s sky ceilings
- The Renaissance-inspired frescoes
- The car porch frescoes
- The Grand Canal mural

Come, Trip with us.
Big wow, especially the last one!
Hi Iris,
The first few images are inside a rotunda.
And the last image is just a part of the sky ceilings in the building. It extends to other parts too. It’s a very interesting sight. 🙂
Have a great week, Iris. 🙂
They’ve created their pretend world well
Vegas has amazing re-creations. I swear.
Thank you for coming by, Debbie. 🙂
They have taken the mural art literally to the next level.
You should see the ones at The Venetian too. Ah-mazing!!
I hope you are doing well, Prasad. 🙂
Las Vegas never fails to outdo the original of whatever they copy! These are much more overwhelming than art from Roman archaeology sites!

True, it takes a lot of skill to recreate those landmarks and all that art they have there in Vegas.
Have a great week ahead, Mae. 🙂
…art on a grand scale.
Indeed.
Happy week, Tom. 🙂
Great murals Dee. Thanks for contributing.
Hey Sami,
Thank you for hosting. 🙂
Beautiful they are!
🙂
These resorts in Vegas seem to have put in a lot of work to add character to the themes of the properties.
