Fall is here! So is the Covid-19 Pandemic. In fact, the global pandemic has been here for a while now. Under the circumstances, the very little bit of tripping we’ve been doing has been to places nearby, and with as many precautions as we can take. As such, this week let me show you some fall color in Mountain House, California.
Mountain House is a residential area in San Joaquin County and these pictures are from the last week of November if you’d like to try to catch some color here next year or some year in the future. I’ll also try and mention all the roads from which these sights are so you could drive-through.

What have YOU been doing this autumn? Did you get to go leaf-peeping? Or did you just make do with the fall colors in your backyard?

Come, Trip with us.
the only thing I did this autumn was leaf-peeping ;-), only place where I could breathe freely. what a wonderful place to cycle.
The best part of the season, is it not? 🙂
Stay safe, Klara. 🙂
wow so beautiful
Isn’t it?
Thank you for coming this way, Rupam.
I hope you are well. 🙂
Oh, how stunning! I love autumn.
Me too. 🙂
It’s a pity the colors don’t last too long.
Thank you for your visit, Lady Fi. 🙂
Hello,
Gorgeous trees and Autumn colors. Lovely series of photos.
Take care, have a happy day!
Hey Eileen,
Thank you so much.
You too. 🙂
I love seeing autumn colors!
Your link at ‘My Corner of the World’ this week is an exciting addition! Thanks for joining us!
Autumn colors are pure gorgeousness! 🙂
Thank you for hosting, Betty. 🙂
Hansen … a “fish head”? – A typical Frisian name 😉
And “may use full lane” sounds a bit scary.
“leaf-peeping” really is word (I googled that!), funny. Wonderful.
Not much here, though, hence I thank you for sharing yours!
Oh is it? Nice to know. 🙂
Those signs scared me when they were first put up. Even otherwise, I’m worried everytime I have to drive past a biker. 🙂
Haha! yeah — leaf peeping IS a word. And it IS funny 😀 and kinda cute too, eh? 😀
I’m so glad I got to share a little bit of joy with you. You take good care, dear Iris. 🙂
This is so beautiful!
Isn’t it?
Long time, Mridula! I hope you are doing well. 🙂
Autumn’s fading colours have a unique charm.
True that.
Such a delicious sight. 🙂

Hey Tanza.
It’s a beautiful season! The reds are gorgeous! I love the light yellows, too. 🙂
Thank YOU. 🙂
Oh I just love fall and these colours. This is something I miss so much in India, when the entire landscape turns so beautiful and colourful, like a painting…
It is such a pretty time. It’s a pity that the colours don’t last very long. :-\
How are you guys doing?
Oh, those fall colours are beautiful. I don’t get them much here (and of course, it has been spring anyway!).
Welcome here, Mali.
Aren’t they? The colours are almost all gone, now. 🙁
It’s a pleasure to share these sights with you. 🙂
Wow! Such lovely colours! Nice shots, Divya.
🙂
What bhangi, no? It’s sad that the colours don’t stick around for too long.
Thanks a ton, Nomad. Doing well, I hope. 🙂
This is tremendous! A visual delight for us in the tropics!! Thanks for sharing! 🙂
I’m glad I got to share them with you, Archana.
