We had heard about Mickey’s Soundsational Parade in Disneyland but didn’t get to watch properly. What we didn’t know while were were at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA was that Disney California Adventure (Park) also had a parade. The day we spent there, we saw the preparations for an event of some sort and learning that it was going to be the mid-afternoon Pixar Play Parade, made sure we had front row seats for the show.
Now this parade takes place on — and having found a good place to sit and watch the show, I ended up taking a lot of pictures of the colour, the celebration of Disney/Pixar creations and many faces and of course the famous floats. And I guess this having been Disney’s 60th year it was a big deal, I guess. Let me give you glimpses of that daytime celebration aka Pixar Play Parade, that was a total surprise to us; a very pleasant one at that.
